About Cimarron Trailers
Cimarron is known for paying attention to detail, constantly innovating, and taking the time and care to do the job right.
Cimarron horse trailers and livestock trailers have the most substantial doors in the industry. A tubular aluminum extrusion 1 11/16" thick x 6 5/8" wide spans the complete perimeter of all Cimarron trailer doors. With built-in pockets for paddle latch, inset weather-stripping lip, and self-aligning hinges.
Safety is always top of mind when designing Cimarron trailers. In current models, the LED lights in Cimarron trailers are up to ten times brighter and use 90% less current than traditional incandescent lights.
Quality craftsmanship, innovation, evolution, and your livestock's safety are at the heart of the Cimarron brand.
Bumper Pull or Gooseneck - Which Towing Type Should You Choose?
If you are in the livestock or horse trailer market, you must choose between a bumper pull or a gooseneck-style trailer. Understanding the differences between these towing styles will help you make an informed decision.
The gooseneck trailer is exceptional if you're looking for towing stability and the capacity for multiple animals. Due to the sturdy tongue that attaches to the bed of the towing truck, gooseneck trailers have minimal sway. Gooseneck trailers typically experience less pull when traveling on the road—even in harsh weather. Cimarron gooseneck trailers use an aircraft-grade aluminum mainframe that runs the length of the trailer and gooseneck, making the gooseneck structure an integral part of the trailer.
Are you looking for a horse or livestock trailer that is cost-efficient and easy to tow? Towing a bumper pull horse or livestock trailer requires using a hitch beneath your vehicle's rear bumper. Although they can be slightly more challenging to maneuver, bumper pull trailers generally require little in the way of extra equipment, making them an ideal choice for rookies transporting their animals.
If you're unsure which towing style is best for you and still have questions, check out this detailed breakdown of the pros and cons of each.
